You Gotta Fight for Your Right to Be White

Just recently, NAACP president Ben Jealous issued a “challenge” to the Tea Party. He advised them to “expel the bigots and racists in your ranks or take full responsibility for all of their actions.” Hmmm. Is it just me, or does anyone else find it hilarious when the leader of an elitist, intolerant, racially-exclusive organization starts lecturing average, diverse American citizens about bigotry? Isn’t the NAACP bigoted by definition?

Is all this outrage because racism actually exists in the Tea Party movement, or is it perhaps due to the fact that this grassroots uprising is now threatening the NAACP’s liberal agenda, and their stranglehold on the black community? Be honest, Mr. NAACP President, how long have you been jealous? After all, where are all these incidents of racism? The only one I heard about was the case where union thugs (not Tea Party participants) cursed out and beat up a black man for distributing “Don’t Tread On Me” flags at a rally. Mr. Jealous never expressed concern about that violence. He never advised the SEIU to “take full responsibility for all of their actions.” Of course not. The SEIU is his political ally.

Therefore, I have a little advice for the NAACP: Stop trying to dredge up all this phony racism within the Tea Party. It ain’t workin’. It ain’t there. Besides, why waste your time fighting with imaginary foes when there is so much real racism out there in the world? Take a look around you, Mr. Jealous! You will find you are bombarded by racially-offensive things! There are blatant occurrences all over!

Take polar bears, for example. They’re all white. They have their own exclusive habitat up there at the North Pole. No black bears and no brown bears allowed. What’s up with that? Why doesn’t the NAACP address this bigotry?

Think about it. There are white blood cells, white collar workers, and White Castle hamburgers. You got white bread, white grapes, white chocolate and Dove white soap. There is whitewater rafting, the Whitewater Development Corporation, the White House and White House apple juice. There’s also White Out, white noise, white pepper, white tie dinners, White Lightnin’ moonshine, and Evan Williams White Label Bourbon. There is Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas,” James Cagney’s “White Heat” and Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit,” not to mention the White Knight of “Alice in Wonderland” fame. There are white-tailed deer, white foxes, whitefish, white whales, whiteflies, white-throated sparrows, white elephant gifts and Betty White. I might also throw in the “blue-collar comedian,” Ron White. There are great white sharks, the band Great White, and that other all-white ensemble, Whitesnake. Let me also include white oak, white pine and white cedar trees, as well as the White River of Arkansas, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the White Cliffs of Dover, the latter being often referenced in film and song. These are but a few of the many racially-offensive items that the NAACP could address.

But no, the NAACP is all over the Tea Party like white on rice, wasting its time trying to manufacture artificial racism, when we all know they are a bunch of phonies. Mind you, I’m not one to whitewash the situation if real racism does occur, but in this case I’m not buying it. I think the NAACP is just desperate to hold on to their power, and they won’t stop until everyone of the Caucasian persuasion sends up a white flag of surrender.

God save the red, WHITE and blue from these perpetual race-baiters…..

  1. Very well said. The NAACP is not interested in taking on real matters of concern. However, I must point out to you that the NAACP who abandoned the Black community 30 years ago lost any hold they had on the Black community then.

What you see on television and read in the papers is a myth. We in the Black community consider the NAACP out of touch, out of date, irrelevant and obsolete. We have also been asking for so long. “….and where is the NAACP?” that we stopped asking ages ago.

There is a heck of a lot of propaganda being pushed around, including the misconception that the NAACP and the New Black Panther Party represents mainstream Black America. THEY DO NOT, but you would not know it watching MSNBC and other propaganda tools of the Obama administration or listening to the likes of Al Sharpton.

  2. I answer to you question, its probably just you.
I have suffered under the burden of being white for quite some time. Its been tough at times but somehow Ive made it so far.The discrimination I have felt because of my race has really made it tough.
With all the love and kind treatment directed by the whites over the years, I cant understand how they could ever have any ill feelings against us as a race.Heck, most of their ancestors were brought here free of charge and allowed to live on plantations in the south.
Heck, we havent owned any of them officially in over 100 years.
This racist naacp is really the heart of all racial problems. Can you imagine, they even dont have heart felt feelings for our stars and bars. Go figure.

  3. I’m not sure, but I am beginning to suspect that it may be possible that Jake is, in fact, a smartass. I’m just putting that out there as a possibility, of course. Not here to judge. 🙂

  4. Guilty as charged.
    I couldnt resist this one.
These folks seem so in never never land its impossible not to laugh ory.
    I love it.
Im going to go drink another glass of tea.

  6. I don’t think that the Tea Party is racist. Rather, some of the people who have chosen to identify with the Tea Party have, on occasion, used racist symbols that have a that have managed to be picked up by TV and newspapers covering their events. The easiest way to make the distinction is for Tea Party organizers to publicly distance themselves from these types.

  7. I contend that the Federal Government is racist! How else can you explain employers are mandated to be an Equal opportunity employer and in the same job add say they are an affirmative action employer?
